Andrew Santelli is a “multi-tool” leader and culture builder for teams who pursue creativity and innovation.

Currently, Andrew is Senior Manager, Digital Experience at AmaWaterways, leading a growing team responsible for sustainment and new development of experiences for web and mobile app. He partners with technology, design, marketing and operations leaders to build and refine the digital experience roadmap for the world’s most innovative luxury river cruise line..

Prior to AmaWaterways, he was Senior Communications Advisor at Thermo Fisher Scientific. managing internal & executive communications and storytelling for the Fortune 100 company’s clinical next-generation sequencing division.

Andrew joined Thermo Fisher after fifteen years at The Walt Disney Company, where he held a series of increasingly responsible positions in a diverse array of functions including digital guest experience, executive engagement, employee communications, social media, corporate citizenship, marketing & sales and guided tour operations.

He was most recently manager of production in the technology & digital organization at Disney Experiences, where he led a talented team of digital producers to manage app-based communications for Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California.

Prior to this, he served as chief of staff to the senior vice president of digital experience, where he played a key role in integrating strategies that accelerated Disney Parks’ momentum in the digital arena and established key culture & communications functions (executive, internal, events) for the global digital organization.

Andrew helped drive business results for Disney as a part of the launch team for the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy cruise ships as well as nearly a dozen Disney resorts. His international experience with Disney also includes working in the U.K., France and Ireland as one of the earliest Adventure Guides for the company’s award-winning guided family travel business, Adventures by Disney.

Away from work, Andrew is a certified triathlon coach and competitive amateur triathlete, qualifying for world championships at the sprint and 70.3 (half-Ironman) distances. He is a trustee of the Winchester Thurston School, his alma mater in his native Pittsburgh, Pa., and as a member of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association, helps welcome the world to Southern California each January for America’s New Year Celebration.

Andrew lives in Burbank, California, with his wife, Jackie Ryczek, their shelter cat, Princess Leia, and their rescue dog, Belle.
